Tris Imboden Yacht Stars are a world class group of musicians. The underlying concept behind the group is to celebrate the timeless hits in the Yacht Rock genre, performed by the actual musicians that played them originally. Individually they are all known around the world for their recordings and live performances over each of their careers.

Grammy winner, Tris Imboden himself is responsible for playing drums on the universally known number one hit “Footloose” which sold over nine million copies worldwide and is a Grammy Award winner that was nominated for an Academy Award. The individual musicians that make up the Yacht Stars have shared the stage with numerous artists who made up the entire Yacht Rock era. The Yacht Stars helped shape the Yacht Rock genre recording and performing with such artists as Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins, Christopher Cross, Philip Bailey, Firefall, Gary Wright, Dave Mason, Chicago Bill Champlin, Richard Marx, Al Jarreau, Earth Wind and Fire, James Ingram, Michael Bolton, John Oates, Isley Brothers, Jacksons, Olivia Newton John, Larsen-Feiten, Boz Scaggs, and many more. Bruce is a Southern California native and has been playing music since the age of 13. Starting originally on the drums, he soon moved to the guitar which quickly became his primary instrument. Bruce is a graduate of the Dick Grove School of Music. Toured with Boz Scaggs, wrote and recorded with Michael McDonald, various television shows including The Tonight Show, and many more. Jeff Gunn has been active in the LA session scene for 25 years. His experience includes singing for movies, TV shows, music videos, award shows, albums and live shows.

Alan Deremo is a Los Angeles native who has had a diverse career in music performing or recording with a wide assortment of artists over the years. Carl Herrgesell: Keyboard/ Vocals Carl is recognized as a multi-talented and stylistically diverse singer, songwriter, and keyboard player. He studied music as a jazz piano major at Arizona State University. Carl toured and recorded with Kenny Loggins for 25 years. Additionally, he recorded with such greats as Elton John, Maurice White, Earth Wind and Fire, and LeAnn Rimes to name a few. During his distinguished career in the music business Carl performed and shared the stage with Hall & Oates, Michael McDonald, Peter Cetera, Amy Grant.
