In 2017, B. Valentine married multi-instrumentalist and producer Eric Valentine. They formed a magical musical duo and the rest is history! Stepping out from behind his drum kit, Eric Valentine thrives as a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist on “Velvet Groove,” playing keyboards, synths, bass, vocals, percussion and drums. A vital element to Valentine’s vibrant melodies and “sing-able” harmonies, and an important contributor to what he calls “my Velvet Groove community” is R&B vocalist B. Valentine (formerly known as Baskerville Jones),  who can be heard cooing soulfully throughout Eric’s creations. B. Valentine is known for her dynamic style and high-energy performances as the lead singer for soul-jazz-funk fusion band The Rebirth. For over 2 decades, B. Valentine has collaborated with many artists and producers as a songwriter, background vocalist, and featured artist. She was the executive producer and collaborator for Eric Valentine’s chart-topping album “Velvet Groove.” She is the featured vocalist on the song “Back in the Day.” B. Valentine has appeared on stage and recorded with an eclectic mix of artists. She has performed with R&B/Soul artists including Jeffrey Osborne, Maysa, Kenny Lattimore, Valerie Simpson, Deniece Williams, Freddie Jackson, Heather Headley, and Chrisette Michelle; gospel artists including BeBe Winans and Dottie Peoples; Jazz Artists including Dave Koz, Richard Elliot, Rick Braun, Jonathan Butler & Peter White; and, international acts including Arman Hovhannisyan, Harout Balyan, and Kfir Melamed. She has performed music in 4 different languages.
