A Tribute to
Burt Bacharach

Anne Walsh is back on the Spaghettini stage celebrating her latest project, “Reach Out For Me: The Music of Burt Bacharach.” Many of Bacharach’s most memorable pieces have been performed in the Bossa Nova style, and his music influenced many of the top performers in that genre. This performance showcases some of our favorite Bacharach songs (many in the Brazilian style), and some of the best music from Astrud Gilberto and Brazil ’66.  Joined by her husband, Grammy-nominated pianist and arranger Tom Zink, Anne brings her signature style, warmth, and emotional depth to some of Bacharach’s most beloved songs. The performance showcases iconic classics including Do You Know the Way to San Jose”, “I’ll Never Fall in Love Again”, “Alfie”,“One Less Bell”,”Going Out of My Head”, “The Look Of Love”, and other classics from the era—beautifully reimagined through Tom Zink’s sophisticated arrangements.  Anne is joined on stage by an all-star lineup of Los Angeles’s finest musicians:  Mitchell Long on guitar, Brian Bromberg on bass, Kevin Winard on drums.  This special evening is a heartfelt tribute to one of the greatest composers of our time, led by Anne Walsh’s captivating voice and storytelling.
