Randy Ellis is a powerhouse saxophonist whose soulful sound and magnetic stage presence have earned him a spot alongside some of the greatest names in music. A native of New Haven, Connecticut, Randy began his musical journey at Virginia State University, where he earned his degree in music and laid the foundation for a career that would take him around the world. Before stepping into the spotlight, Randy spent four years as a music educator, sharing his gift with young students and inspiring future generations. His big break came in 2000 when he hit the road with gospel legend Fred Hammond and Purpose By Design—and he hasn’t looked back since. Over the years, Randy has toured, recorded, and shared the stage with an all-star lineup including Stevie Wonder, Prince, Beyoncé, Anita Baker, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, the Jonas Brothers, and Whitney Houston. Whether lighting up an intimate jazz club or commanding a sold-out arena, his passion and precision make every performance unforgettable.
