Tris Imboden Yacht Stars are a world class group of musicians. The underlying concept behind the group is to celebrate the timeless hits in the Yacht Rock genre, performed by the actual musicians that played them originally. Individually they are all known around the world for their recordings and live performances over each of their careers.
Band Members
Tris Imboden: Drums
Grammy winner, Tris Imboden himself is responsible for playing drums on the universally known number one hit “Footloose” which sold over nine million copies worldwide and is a Grammy Award winner that was nominated for an Academy Award. The individual musicians that make up the Yacht Stars have shared the stage with numerous artists who made up the entire Yacht Rock era. The Yacht Stars helped shape the Yacht Rock genre recording and performing with such artists as Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins, Christopher Cross, Philip Bailey, Firefall, Gary Wright, Dave Mason, Chicago Bill Champlin, Richard Marx, Al Jarreau, Earth Wind and Fire, James Ingram, Michael Bolton, John Oates, Isley Brothers, Jacksons, Olivia Newton John, Larsen-Feiten, Boz Scaggs, and many more.

Bruce Boulanger
: Lead/ Background Vocals/ Guitar
Bruce is a Southern California native and has been playing music since the age of 13. Starting originally on the drums, he soon moved to the guitar which quickly became his primary instrument. Bruce is a graduate of the Dick Grove School of Music. Toured with Boz Scaggs, wrote and recorded with Michael McDonald, various television shows including The Tonight Show, and many more.

Jeff Gunn
: Lead Vocals
Jeff Gunn has been active in the LA session scene for 25 years. His experience includes singing for movies, TV shows, music videos, award shows, albums and live shows.

Alan Deremo
: Bass Guitar
Alan Deremo is a Los Angeles native who has had a diverse career in music performing or recording with a wide assortment of artists over the years. Some of those include Belinda Carlisle, Colin Hay (Men at Work), The Captain and Tenille (the original Yacht Rockers), John Oates, Olivia Newton-John, Richie Furay, Vince Gill and Amy Grant, Lee Ann Womack, Kathy Mattea, John Denver, the Mamas and the Papas, Jesse Colin Young, Jules Shear, Rita Rudner, Jack Tempchin, Gary Mule Deer, Dave Alvin, Glenn Branca, Eric Marienthal, and Honk.

Michael Paulo
: Saxophone/ Keyboard
One of the most versatile and cosmopolitan saxophonists in pop, soul and contemporary jazz for 30 years. Paulo has performed with Well-known artists such as Al Jarreau, Jeffrey Osborne, Deniece Williams, Oleta Adams, Paul Jackson Jr., Christopher Cross, Ray Parker Jr , Eric Benet , Patti Austin, James Ingram, Stephen Bishop, David Benoit, Peter White, Jeff Lorber, Paul Jackson Jr., Anita Baker, Bobby Caldwell, George Duke, Brenda Russell, Hiroshima, Dave Koz, and many more
Glenn Branca, Eric Marienthal, and Honk.

Monty Seward
: Keyboard/ Vocals
The soulful & smooth voice of keyboard player, singer-songwriter, music director, and producer has allowed Monty to amass an impressive and eclectic collection of credits that span over 35 years and millions of singles and albums sold. Former staff writer for the legendary Quincy Jones, and former staff producer for the incredible Narada Michael Walden, Monty Seward has written, produced, performed, or music directed for such notables as Philip Bailey, Regina Belle, El DeBarge, Teddy Pendergrass, Kool, and The Gang, James Ingram, Michael Bolton, Howard Hewett, Kelly Clarkson, Lakeside, The Commodores, Denice Williams, George Duke, Chante Moore, Tevin Campbell, New Kids On The Block, Kenny Lattimore, Layla Hathaway, Oleta Adams, The Jacksons, Isley Brothers and many, many more.
